The President of Russia Vladimir Putin issued an Executive Order awarding Valerii Smirnov, D. Sc. (Engineering), Professor, the Order of Honour for outstanding contribution to the development of the nuclear industry and a dedicated work of many years.
Aleksey Russkikh, the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region, presented Valerii Smirnov with the Order of Honour.
This award is the highest recognition of achievements of Valerii Smirnov and the Sosny R&D Company in the development of advanced technologies and equipment improving the efficiency and safety of the nuclear industry.
